Green Macedonian Pepper
- Prized sweet Macedonian pepper, they grow long and crunchy with thick flesh.
- Very diverse in the kitchen it can be used raw in salads or in cooked dishes like roasted or fried!
- It makes the perfect summer snack when eaten fresh on its own also!
- Will ripen as a red pepper, but is best harvested younger when light green in colour to get the best flavour and texture.
- Grow in full sun for better yield and can be overwintered if kept in a protected and sheltered position.
- Best planted in rich compost, cover with mulch and protect from early spring overnight frost, until night temperatures are above 10 degrees Celsius.
- Plants will grow about 60-80cm tall and 40cm wide and wont need more than 50-60cm space between.
