Known as ‘Basiliko Sgouros’ in Greek meaning fuzzy basil with reference to its puffy ball-like appearance when established.
The basil bush is flushed with delicate and fragrant white blooms in late summer.
Easy to grow in small pots and containers and makes a beautiful garden ornament on tables and balconies.
Thanks to its compact growing nature it also is great planted as a companion herb in amongst the veggie garden.
