This Cretan treasure is famous amongst the villages! They grow long and fat and are half melon so they are super tasty and sweeter than normal cucumbers.
They have beautiful light green coloured skin which is covered in moss-like fur that dissolves with water (So no affect on taste/texture just looks cool!)
A very distinct variety are hard to find and go great in every salad! They make a fantastic summer snack on their own sliced and sprinkled with some salt.
Plant care as per normal cucumbers with lots of water in well composted and aerated soil.
They are very sensitive to frost so plant in late spring (depending on your micro climate) after nights stop dropping under 10/11 degrees Celsius.

Will climb up and spread to 60-80cm tall and wide and dont like to much root disturbance so space plants about 70-80cm apart.
