Additional Information
This unique variety of cherry tomato is a wild short growing bush that produces clusters of small-medium sized tomatoes characterised with a pointed bottom end.
The Santorini tomato is a determinate variety, meaning it will grow all its fruit at roughly the same time in bunches.
Originally a wild growing variety from the mountains in Santorini where it can withstand strong winds, hot climate and rigid conditions.
For best results pick off the sucker growing shoots in between the main stem and stake with a post/stick for support.
Plant in full sun and like all tomatoes, maintain hygienic pruning of lower leaves to prevent disease.
The plant will grow small and bushy around 1-1.5M tall and at wont spread to far if trained correctly, (about 1M spread).
Plant at least 1M apart to allow them to breath and allow new growth to bush out.
