- The leaves and stems have strong scent and flavour of celery. It grows similar and very reminiscent of large leaf parsley.
- It grows beautiful white flowers which appear umbrella-like. It is a member of the Apiaceae or Carrot family. It is great for attracting beneficial insects and pollinators.
- Young leaves and stems are a great addition in cooking, use like celery and lovage.
- It grows and can be harvested all year round, depending on plant management. Regular cutting will delay the bolting process and result in longer harvest.
- The plant can be grown in part to full sun. Can be crown in pots and containers as well as the ground. ensure it had moist, rich, and free-draining soil.
- Will grow up to 1M high and each plant can spread up to 1M wide. The plant will regularly self sow like parsley.
